Entrevista a Luca Sangalli (INTERSOS) - Jordan

Resumen

To give you an overview, INTERSOS is a non-governmental organization (NGO) founded in Italy in 1992 by a consortium of trade unions. The very first project launched by INTERSOS was in Somalia, back in 1992, at the time of Black Hawk operation. This mission in Somalia is the oldest one and it is still in place. In terms of activities, INTERSOS predominantly focuses on health- and education-related issues. It has a very humanitarian character in the meaning that we do not work in development contexts; we just operate in situation of emergency. Here in Jordan we started providing assistance in 2007, in the aftermath of the Iraq crisis. Then we strengthened our presence from 2012 just after Syrian crisis begun.
