Aprendizaje significativo a partir de un juego de simulación

Resumen

Las nuevas generaciones requieren un modelo de aprendizaje más dinámico en el cual el estudiante se comporte como un agente activo. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar de manera exploratoria el nivel de aprendizaje adquirido entre estudiantes del programa profesional en mercadeo y el programa profesional de finanzas de una Institución de Educación Superior en Colombia a partir de la implementación de un juego de simulación que fomenta la habilidad de relacionar objetivos, indicadores y resultados de gestión de mercadeo. El juego fue aplicado entre 277 estudiantes. Los hallazgos se sustentan en la estadística descriptiva y en la aplicación de pruebas no paramétricas para evaluar si se presentan diferencias significativas antes y después del juego, entre los estudiantes de mercadeo y finanzas. Los resultados evidencian cómo el juego, al utilizar una estrategia interactiva, que genera complejidad y competitividad, refuerza los elementos presentes en la temática estudiada para generar así un aprendizaje significativo en los estudiantes de ambas disciplinas.
